Inside of the Sinn EZM 10 is the Sinn SZ01 automatic movement. It is essentially a heavily modified Swiss ETA Valjoux 7750 that has been beefed up and given some different functions. Legibility is very good with the high contrast black and white indicators, and the orange adds a little spice to the design. Sinn always uses a remarkable amount of AR coating on the crystal, so glare is really never an issue. The new bezel with its sapphire crystal inlay is quite nice. Sinn watches are about function, but the 243 Ti needed a little flair. The galvanized metal dial has some gloss to it, and the rhodiumized hour markers and hands are all applied. Even though the case proportions are kind to the female demeanor, this is still a tool watch at heart. Easy to read and lume covered, this is a practical watch is there ever was one. The 206 Ar dial itself is very legible but also no-nonsense in its approach. It begins with the core concept that a legible watch dial must have a healthy volume of contrast. This, the hour markers, and hands are in white luminant, and the rest of the dial is darker. Then, you have the nice combination of proper dial proportions, mostly Arabic hour numerals, and a lack of distracting elements on the dial.
